Press Release Mobilizing Justice

We are thrilled to share that Community Reach North Simcoe was one of five transportation models chosen across Canada to take part in the Mobilizing Justice project facilitated by the University of Toronto through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada last year.

The project aims at addressing transportation inequities in Canadian cities through research and mobilization knowledge.

The focus of this project is on transportation accessibility and lived experiences of people with transportation challenges. The Mobilizing Communities project is a grassroots case study exemplifying responsive mobility equity.

Community Reach North Simcoe was excited about the opportunity to share their unique transportation model nationally.

Community Reach North Simcoe was also one of five panelists for the Jan. 31, 2023 webinar hosted by Mobilizing Justice to launch the completed report: mobilizingjustice.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Mobilizing-Communities-MJ-FINAL-Jan.31.23.pdf.
